December 2011 - Photography During the last few months I have been experimenting more and more with photography and concept styling. Results to be posted soon.

November 2011 - FabLab The mobile FabLab truck is coming to Deventer and I will be there! I will be using the "Fabrication Laboratory" to explore the use of laser-cutting in working with materials such as Plexiglas.

October 2011 - Bewegen en Landen I have been selected to take part in the Bewegen en Landen project happening in Hellendoorn between October 2011 - February 2014. For this occasion, I will be making new works, inspired by the history and culture of the municipality of Hellendoorn. My solo exhibition will take place between November 2012 and February 2013. My work will then "land" on different locations throughout the area, as part of a travelling exhibition.

September 2011 - Presentation at Catch Avond On the 23rd of September I will be giving a presentation about my work at the Catch evening in Deventer, a meeting hot spot for creative professionals. I will be talking about my work: my inspiration, my practice and the challenges I face. All this in 7 minutes!

May 2011 - WindowArt in Borne Between 20 may and 5 June you can see my works in Borne, as part of the Mondriaan Month Kunstroute.

May 2011 - The Not So One Man Show 29 April - 15 May 2011 I am taking part in “The Not So One Man Show”. The group exhibition represents in fact the private collection of Patrick Mangnus, artist and curator. 

April 2011 - New works online Especially for the Next Generation in Arts expo I made a few small scale figurative paintings entitled “The Ghost Series”. Please find them in the paintings section. 

April 2011 - Next Generation In Arts 2011 During the Easter weekend I am exhibiting together with 7 other artists in the old City hall in Lochem, NL. The exhibition is called Next Generation in Arts 2011 and is meant to offer a young professional approach to the Kunstroute happening in Lochem on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of April.

February 2011 - Solo exhibition For two months you will be able to see my works hanging in Galerie 23 De Kegelbaan in Helmond (NL). I will be showing new paintings as well as my “no/little room to grow (REM)” installation, this time in a new set up. The opening will take place on the March the 5th. 

February 2011 - New work online My first collaborative project, The Incident Room #4, introduced me to Mark Bouwhuis, a young and talented Dutch artist. Together we came up with Vantage Point, a new installation that describes both our styles. Please check out the installations section.

January 2011 - The Incident Room #4 The Incident Room #4 is a project curated by Patrick Mangnus, in which two artists who never worked together before come together for a determined amount of time, at the end of which they exhibit the fruits of their "encounter". Between 10 - 27 january 2011 I will be working in Havenkwartier together with Mark Bouwhuis (Zwolle, NL). The second artist duo is made up out of Marike Pool and Anke Land. 

October 2010 - Solo exhibition Between the 11th of October until the 21st of November you can see my works hanging at Filmhuis de Keizer in Deventer (NL).

June 2010 - Culture Trail 2010 I participated in the organization and group exhibition of this years edition of Culture Trail. Culture Trail is a traveling festival: 6 countries, 8 festivals, 4 weeks with a permanent team of 18 artists from 9 nations. You can take a look at the pictures of the event in Deventer (NL) here.

April  2010 - Group exhibition Deventer Between May 29 and June 27 you are cordially invited to visit the “Toegang Vrij” salon held in the Bergkerk, Deventer (NL). The exhibition, featuring 84 Deventer artists, will show 3 of my newer works. The salon is also the starting point of an ‘atelierroute’ to which I will not be participating this year.

September  2009 - SLEM Wind Nomads go to New York (USA) After a successful run at the Oerol festival (NL) the unique swarm of paintings embarked on a world tour. Recently the Wind Nomads were in New York on Governors Island as part of the New Island Festival, commemorating the 400 years of New York – Netherlands relations. The festival, which took place between 12- 20 sept. 2009, created the opportunity for the SLEM team to rearrange the temporary installation into a new shape and in a different setting. June  2009 - New works online As the Oerol festival came to an end, the SLEM – Wind Nomads project takes a break, before traveling to Manhattan (USA). The pictures of the temporary installation, exhibited on the beach of Terschelling (NL), are now online. You can find images of my piece as well as views of the whole installation in my installations section. Gerrit Bart, a very good native Terschelling photographer also took some KAP (Kite Areal Photography) pictures.

June  2009 - Group exhibition Bucharest, Romania Between May 27 and June 14, I took part in the group exhibition “Art in public Spaces II”, in Bucharest (RO).

May  2009 - New works online Based on some very nice pictures, courtesy of the young and talented Maria Sandu, I have made three new pieces. Please find them at the misc works section under 'Maria'.

May  2009 - Group exhibition Manhattan, New York The SLEM-project 'Wind Nomads' in which I participated earlier this year, will travel to Manhattan, New York (USA) in September 2009.

April 2009 - Group exhibition Oerol/Terschelling I have made a piece as a contribution to the SLEM-project 'Wind Nomads', which is a part of the annual Oerol festival (NL). Please find a detail of the piece and more info here.

March 2009 - Group exhibition Deventer I have accepted an invitation to contribute to the 'Onder de loep' art project. I will make 3 new miniature pieces especially for this project. They will be exhibited at Kunstenlab Deventer (NL) July 18 to September 6 2009.
